Focaccia is one of the most requested types of bread at our house.
I saw a micro-baker making something like this on social media; I believe she was suing various types of squash and potatoes if I remember it right.
I mostly liked the look of the super thin slices of the squash and potatoes.

Since I didn’t have a slicer, I had to slice Kabocha my hand.
I wasn’t sure how that would go, but it was actually not that bad.
My arm didn’t get numb or anything, so that was good.

It was already looking great before I put it in the oven.

I was happy with the final result, too.

The Kabocha pieces became wavy, and the edges were crunchy, but the beautiful orange color stayed.

This was me deciding how to cut and how big an each piece should be…

I thought simple veggie soup would be perfect to serve the focaccia for lunch.

Note to myself – Use both AP and bread flour and not all AP flour.
This time I used AP flour only instead of mixture of AP flour and bread flour like I usually do.
I think it’s a personal preference, but I do like my focaccia with chewiness.

This was the cafe we just recently visited.

It was much more spacious than I had expected from outside.

They get busy around the lunch time.
We got there toward the end of the lunch rush, and when we left, it was pretty quiet.

It was a nice (not too hot) day, and we took a table outside.

They offer non-dairy milk.
Also I found a few vegan items on the food menu.

My husband had Matcha latte, and I had juice called “Barbie”.

We are trying to get a picture of us taken with a Christmas tree in the background.
We need a photo we can use as a social media Christmas greeting card.
Finding a nice-looking tree is not a problem.
Christmas trees are everywhere in Bangkok, and they are all so beautiful.
The problem is that our faces get shiny if we are out too long, walking, outside (lol).
We have to find a nice tree before we walk too long…
