We finally made it to this (mostly) vegan restaurant, Bio Terrace, that had been on our list for a while.

It’s in the middle of the business district.
We went there on Monday, but it was a holiday, so the area was very quiet.

They have a cozy terrace space, too, but we chose a table inside because it was a bit windy.

There is a section where you can get flavored water (for free), tea, and nuts (for granola bowls).

All the dishes are vegan except for two items.

I had Tofu Burger.

The tofu patty was somewhat small (hard to see in this photo, too), but the sandwich was tasty as a whole.
I should mention that I really liked the bun.

I loved that the burger came with beautiful vegetables.
They were so refreshing.

My husband had Falafel Plate.

The falafels were on the softer side but they were tasty.
This plate came with a lot of fresh veggies too.
Would we go back?
I will when I’m in the mood for fresh veggies.
It’s a bit pricy, but it’s justifiable based on the quality of the produce they use and their location.

After our lunch, we stopped at this cute little shop to look at some dishes.

These (two-colored) seem like their signature items.

By the way I baked this Boule bread with my new oven.
I’ve started baking bread in Japan, but this was the first time to bake this type (hard-crust).
I used the recipe from my old 5 minutes a day bread book (modified over the years), but I had to mix bread flour and cake flour in place of all-purpose flour since in Japan I only keep bread flour and cake flour in my pantry.
I used about 2.3 cups (1 cup=200ml) of bread flour and 0.7 cup of cake flour.

It turned out great!
It’s a bit softer than usual, but I kind of liked it.
