I liked the Banana Shokuapan (a few posts back) so much that I decided to make it again, but a slightly different version this time.
I added cocoa this time.
Banana and cocoa.
No way that could go wrong, right?
Turned out absolutely delicious!!
I just had a slice toasted this morning, and it was SO GOOD!
Yangnyeom is Korean spicy and sweet sauce, and I had craving for something like this today.
So I made sure to buy gochujang when I was at the Asian grocery store today.
But when I was there I found beautiful garlic chives sold as “garlic I decided to somehow incorporate in the dish.
Very happy with the result.
The vibrant color combination was very appetizing too.
This may be my new favorite!

With banana flavor!
I now get out of the bed looking forward to a banana toast for breakfast.
These are not the prettiest cookies.
But they are extremely chocolaty and perfect for chocolate lovers.
I love orange and chocolate together, and these are so flavorful and delicious.
It’s a Shokupan pullman loaf.
But with tofu.
I actually haven’t tasted it, but it looks, feels, and smells really good.
Soft and moist.
I can’t wait to try it tomorrow morning!
Saturday breakfast.
My husband started working out more lately, and he also pays much more attention to what he eats.
So I wanted something tasty but good-for-you food for breakfast this morning for us.
These are sourdough waffles, with a good amount of whole wheat, oats, Kabocha, and spices.
We enjoyed them very much, with vegan butter, maple syrup, and coconut cream (for me).

I love the flavor combination of Teriyaki and mayo.
When kimchi is added to it, I do a little dance (lol).
Vegan kimchi mixed with vegan mayo.
I could eat a big bowl of rice just with this.
But this time I had a different idea.
Golden bun, vegan mayo, teriyaki tofu burger, fried onions, kimchi mayo, cilantro.
I don’t bake rolls often, but I bake them when I want to make certain type of sandwiches.
So yes, you can expect to see pictures of sandwiches soon.
It’s hard to see from outside, but the inside is like the sunshine!
What makes these rolls golden?
One of my favorite spies, turmeric.
Udon noodle soup is definitely one of the ultimate comfort foods for me.
Served with A-ge (fried soy curd), a vegan egg, and scallion.
Tasty!!
This Kabocha Shokupan turned out to be super soft!
I love the beautiful yellow color inside, too.
