
I had a very good lemongrass tea at a vegan cafe when we were traveling in Malaysia last year.
The memory was vivid because the tea was the best thing we ordered at the particular restaurant (unfortunately, the rest of the items were not great).

Now I grow lemongrass in our planter on the balcony, and it’s doing very well.

This was how it looked when it was first planted 4-5 months ago.
You can see how big it has become.

This was actually my second attempt.
The first time I didn’t steep it long enough, so this time I made sure to keep the leaves longer to fully extract the flavor.

It was so refreshing.
Lemongrass, ginger, sugar, lemon juice.
Simple, but absolutely tasty!
