We often have a hard time deciding which restaurant to go, but for Valentine’s Day we both knew we wanted to go to Vegan Mahanakhon.
We were here a few months ago to celebrate my birthday.
There are many vegan restaurants in Bangkok, but this place is perfect for special occasions.
Their elegant decor helps elevate the dining experience to the next level.
The welcome drink (Jasmine-scented water) is perfectly chilled and so refreshing.
Their menu is absolutely beautiful, almost like an art book, with amazing pictures.
Luckily, they still had a Chinese New Year menu in addition to the regular menu.
My husband liked their Thai tea before, so he ordered it again.
This is Assorted Thai Appetizer Platter, and It’s a MUST if you ever come to this restaurant.
Each item is so beautifully crafted.
It’s such a treat.
This turnip cake was from the Chinese New Year.
Very good.
It had a great texture and was very flavorful.
Winged Bean Salad.
We asked them to make it “not spicy”.
Very good.
Deep-fried Vegan Pork Belly.
Perfectly cooked.
Crispy and delicious.
We agree with many reviews on Google that everything you order here is delicious.
I’m pretty sure that we will return next time we want to have a celebration meal, but I might have to make up our own celebration event because I don’t want to wait too long (lol).

After lunch, we found out that there was a large market, Wang Lang Market, about 10 minute-walk from the restaurant and decided to explore it.
Homemade Tofu!
This market was really fun.
Looked like a market popular among locals instead of tourists.
Of course, there were a lot of vendors selling red roses.
