We discovered this vegan restaurant called Yes Vegan last time we were in the city.
It’s a bit away from the main area, but it’s worth visiting if you want vegan food in Pattaya.
It’s not a quick walk, but you can get there on foot from the main area of the city.
As the name suggests, everything is vegan, which is nice because you don’t have to ask many questions, such as “does this contain dairy?” when you are not too confident about your Thai language skills.
Based on what it said on the menu, this place looked like a hotel as well.
They offer various kinds of food, from Asian to Western.
My noodle soup was Chinese style, and it had a unique flavor where I detected star anise.
It was a bit of surprise because I didn’t expect that.
My husband had Vegan Tonkatsu (deep-fried “pork”).
He liked it, but the presentation could have been better, maybe with a little more veggie for the salad or/and served with soup.
What we really enjoyed at this restaurant was the dessert.
This chocolate lava cake was very good.
The carrot cake was beautifully presented and it was delicious!
If we go back, we will probably order something different for a meal, but we will for sure get the same dessert.
