We spent 5 days in Pattaya.
Pattaya is a nice sized beach resort, but it still has a low-key feel to it.
It’s less than two hours from Bangkok by car, and it’s an easy drive.
This is our second time visiting this city, and we knew from our previous experience that it was going to be not as easy to find plant-based food as in Bangkok, but we tried.
This vegetarian shop was in the food court inside the shopping mall, Terminal 21, and we had several meals there. during our stay.
It was close to our hotel, so it was convenient.
We also liked their variety and price.
A plate of rice and three dishes of your choice only costs 40 baht ($1.10)!
Once you enter the food court area, this vendor is the first one you see on the right.
It says “vegetarian”, but the majority of their dishes appeared vegan.
But first, you have to get a card at this cash card station.
You have to use this card to buy any food at this food court.
If you don’t use up all the money on the card you put in, you can get that back later.
It’s a simple but straight-forward process, and it works well.
The plate may not be the prettiest, but it was quite tasty.
The green veggie you see in the picture is called “morning glory”.
It’s simply sauteed and one of my favorite dishes in Thailand.
This food court is large, and it is popular.
One time we got there at 12:00 noon, and it was a bit hard to find a table.
Oh, and here you can sterilize your utensils.
