When I saw it on Instagram I immediately saved the recipe.
It looked and sounded so good, and I was so excited to finally try it.
I was a bit worried because I had such high hope, and I didn’t want to be disappointed.
But it actually turned out exactly what I had hoped!
I followed the recipe.
It got nice brown color, and the texture was great, not mashy.
That was what I was afraid might happen.
The corner piece was my favorite because I liked the crunchy edge.
I served it with plant-based yogurt, maple syrup, and red currants.
This siggi brand’s vanilla & cinnamon yogurt was delicious.
This was so good!
The recipe creator, Maya, said she used to make it on weekends for her family, and I may start doing it myself too.
Here is a link to the recipe.

Last Saturday we attended my sister-in-law’s wedding.
It was a farm/barn wedding in the beautiful countryside.
It was a beautiful ceremony.
It was sunny but super windy, and getting pictures taken outside was a bit challenging!
(My hair was a mess. I should have used hair spray!)
After the wedding ceremony we had dinner in the barn (upstairs).
I’m sharing a few more pictures that show the inside of the barn (downstairs).
This place was rustic but very clean and charming.
I loved the lighting.
We took a lot of pictures, but I forgot to take any pictures of the bride with my phone!
I can’t wait to see the family pictures taken by the professional photographers.
