I’m so excited to share this one!
“Dippin’ Donut” is something I came up with during our latest vacation in Hawaii.
The first version I made was cocoa -cinnamon-coconut cream-peanut butter, and it was delicious (I hope to re-create this again soon).
I was anxious to make another Dippin’ Donuts again, and I’m happy that I finally got to do so.
I had so many flavor combination ideas, but this was one of those on the top of my list.
My husband loves lemony sweets, and I thought making a dip with lemon curd would be a winner.
I used this recipe ↓ for vegan lemon curd.
It’s somewhat translucent first (↓）, but it thickens and less translucent（↑） the next day.
Coconut cream and lemon curd together are such a dream combination!
Now we have to talk about the donuts.
These are vegan, gluten-free, baked donuts, and the sweetness only comes from banana.
So it’s relatively healthy, I think. ; )
I added a little ginger to these.
Now this is the fun part!
Dip the donut in the lemon cream.
I made these for my husband, but we both enjoyed them.
He got me these beautiful roses!
