Based on my observation of Japanese people’s Instagram posts, oatmeal has become increasingly popular in Japan.
It’s not for everyone, but it seems well liked especially those who are health-conscious.
It’s interesting to see how they use oatmeal, and some of their oatmeal dishes are very creative.
When I saw “oatmeal onigiri” I was intrigued.
Onigiri (rice ball) is usually made with rice (you probably guessed! :)), so I wanted to see how oatmeal would work by making it myself.
Well, it worked!
Did I like it?
YES!!
Well, the texture is unique, but I like oatmeal, so I will definitely make it again.
