I haven’t had brats for a long time.
But today we got to enjoy vegan brats.
How cool is that?
This is my first time I made vegan brats, but I was super happy with the result.
Aren’t they beautiful?
They were browned well when pan-sautéed.
I baked buns for lunch.
These are soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for brats.
Today I made two different versions.
One was with coriander paste, homemade sauerkraut, ketchup, and mustard.
I wanted to post the picture (above) before covering the brats with ketchup and mustard.
The color is so bright!
I love the design of this mustard from Ikea.
The other version was with vegan cheese, vegan “bacon,” fried onion, and parsley.

We LOVED these brats.
I’m proud to say that buns, bratwurst sausage, sauerkraut, cheese, and bacon were all homemade.
