Mint and chocolate chip combination has always intrigued me.
The first time I learned something like mint chocolate chip ice cream existed as a young child, I thought it was kind of weird.
But once I tried it, I instantly knew why people liked it.
I’m not a huge ice cream fan, so I now enjoy this flavor combination in other things like this.
I use fresh mint leaves, and I like being able to enjoy the fresh mint flavor in them.
I wanted to show the inside.
The chocolate is melted in this picture because the muffin was still warm (I couldn’t wait!), but I like them cool so that the chocolate chips are solid.
